Who we are

About Us

We are a consulting firm specialising in accounting, advisory and tax related matters. We provide finance business partnering to small and medium enterprises. As a small and medium business owner we understand that your main priority is to grow the business and you do not have time to focus on the administration. We also assist where setting up a finance department is not feasible as the company is still growing. Utilising our expertise comes at a fraction of the costs of having an inhouse finance department.

Our Accreditations

We are young and energetic qualified Chartered Accountants: CA(SA), ACMA, CGMA registered with South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA), Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA). We are also SARS Registered Tax Practitioner. We have an enthusiasm for accounting, tax, business advisory and strategy.

Our Operating Model

The COVID-19 pandemic has proved that there is no need to be at the office 100% especially if you work in the administration function of the business such as finance. At Amasiba we operate remotely with few exceptions such as physical meetings where necessary. Remote working has become popular all over the world for organisations that offer consulting services. Working remotely reduces our operating costs and ultimately reduces the price that we charge our clients.

Bookkeeping

We provide basic bookkeeping services up to trial balances.
This includes:

Recording of Expenses;
Raising of Invoices and Debtors;
Cash book and Bank Reconciliation;
Assets Capitalisation and Depreciation;
Processing of Journal Entries;
General Ledger Reconciliation;
Trial Balance Finalisation; and
Payroll Processing.



Monthly Management Accounts

We prepare monthly management accounts for the company to assist you to understand the performance of the company on a monthly basis. A year is too long, you do not want to be surprised by one snapshot of the annual performance at the end of the year. Our monthly management accounts include:

Income Statement;
Balance Sheet;
Cash Flow Statement; and
Variance Analysis Against Budget, Forecasts or Prior Month.



Preparation of Annual Financial Statements

We prepare Annual Financial Statements for the year to be used to report to external stakeholders such as SARS, Shareholders, CIPC and Banks. These include:

Annual Financial Statements that are Compliant with IFRS for SMEs;
XBRL Financial Statements for CIPC Returns; and
Annual Reports.



SARS Tax Returns

As registered Tax Practitioners we handle all SARS related matters. These include:

SARS Registrations;
Filing of Income Tax and VAT returns; and
Disputes and Payment Arrangements.



Secretarial Services

We provide:

Company Registrations;
Filing of Annual Returns; and
Changes to Company Details and Directors.
